Mental Health Carers Central Coast offers support and information to family and friends of people with mental illness, and promotes mental health and wellbeing.
The quickest, most direct way to make contact with Mental Health Carers Central Coast is to telephone (02) 4369 4233.
But if you'd prefer to contact us by email, here's a few things you should know:
When you send us an email, we treat it confidentially, like all other personal information.
If you are over 18 years old
Your email goes to our Family Support Coordinator, who will respond directly to you.
If you are under 18 years old
Your email goes directly to our Family Support Coordinator, who will read your email and, depending on your situation, will respond directly to you or ask our Young ARAFMI Worker to respond to you.
How long will it take to get a response?
Emails are checked daily (Monday to Friday). We aim to respond to your message within one week.
However, exactly how long it takes depends on a number of things – especially on how many other emails or phone contacts we've had. So please be patient – we will respond to your email as soon as we can. It's better if you wait for us to respond to your first email, rather than sending another one, unless your situation has changed.
If you'd like us to reply to your email by phone, please include contact details in the optional section at the bottom of the email form.
Mandatory Reporting
Please note: As with all community services, we are mandatory reporters. This means that if there are children at risk, or suspected as being at risk of abuse or neglect, we are required by law to report this to DOCS.
We also have specific duty of care and reporting requirements, which may also override confidentiality.
If you are concerned about these issues, please discuss this with the Family Services Coordinator on(02) 4369 4233.
